Come Number the Hungers

I've been working on a ditty. The chorus I like but I'm not sure what else quite fits with it:

Come number the hungers.
Come number the hungers.
Come number the hungers.
Because this cult
is difficult
for simple folk
and for us.




I think Kant is playing the game when he writes,
'Happiness is the satisfaction of all our desires, extensively, in respect of their manifoldness, intensively, in respect of their degree, and protensively, in respect of their duration.'
